BREWERIES THAT PLAN TO OPEN IN THE SECOND HALF OF 2022
Highlander Beer
Remember the story of White Dog Brewing? White Dog was a brewery in Bozeman, Montana that opened a second brewery in Boise, Idaho. They remodeled the old Table Rock Brewery building and opened in September 2017.
Highlander Beer is a brewery in Missoula, Montana that will open an Idaho location in Salmon. They are currently remodeling the old Kings building at 605 Main Street and plan to open a Brew Pub featuring pizza and other pub food by years end. They will brew on-site with a 10 BBL system. This location is just across the street from Bertram's Salmon Valley Brewery which was sold in September 2021 and expected to reopen under new ownership.
Salmon should have two breweries by the end of the year.

This brewery, formerly Bertram's Salmon Valley Brewing, was recently purchased and the new owners are currently looking for a new Head Brewer. They plan to reopen this 7 BBL in the first quarter of 2022. I am not sure if they will continue to use the Bertram's name. This brewery is located at 535 Main Street, Salmon, Idaho, just across the street from the future Highlander brewery.

BREWERY ON THE MOVE
Barbarian Brewing
Barbarian Brewing is moving their Garden City Brewery and Tap Room. Their new location is on the southwest corner of 34th and Clay in Garden City. Check out the above story about Idawild Brewing.
Quote from their Facebook page: Sneak peak of the future home of Barbarian Brewing! We will be moving our current Brewery and Taproom to 32nd & Clay in Garden City sometime Fall 2021. We are keeping our current 10bbl brewing system and do not intend to increase production or add distribution into the plans. Our goal is to build a kick ass taproom and beer garden, partner with a local food truck on-site and continue to create a rotating selection of IPAs, Kettle Sours, Candy Sours, Ice Cream Ales, Bourbon Barrel Stouts, Spontaneously fermented Barrel Aged Sours, and whatever other crazy ideas our brewing team dreams up
